Reading a book has become somewhat underrated and it just makes me sad. Why is it so hard for some people to just pick up a book and transport themselves to a place more magical than where they are? Sure, one wouldn’t really want to read a book while riding a rollercoaster, but you get what I mean, right?
Hence, I am glad to announce here on Friday that the industry of making books has not died. Despite how many people choose to ignore books and get e-books instead, the true bookworms of our generation did not let us down. Don’t believe me? Well, you didn’t think I’d announce such important news unprepared, did you?
You read that correctly, my loves. E-book sales have indeed been dropping. Thank God! LOL.
Like 70% of paperback and hardbound book consumers, I too do not wish to turn my back on real books any time soon. I don’t think I ever will, so you can just suck on that, e-books! Ha ha!
Okay, okay, e-books can stay as long as they don’t totally ruin the book industry. I’m just happy that this comprehensive data has shown that it’s highly unlikely that books would become irrelevant compared to silly e-books.
Whew! Now I can enjoy my reading in peace for the world is safe again.
