Currently at 5 feet, 8th grader Chase Adams of Ariel Elementary Community Academy played a key role to help his school’s 8th grade team to a 56-3 finish in Chicago’s Public League when he was in 7th grade. (He was a 7th grader playing against 8th graders. Big deal.) He stood at 4’11 back then. (As if we didn’t know small guys could make it big.)
This season, his goal is to help the Storm end the season on top and win the championship. (That’s what every baller wants every year.)
So, how good is this kid and why write about him so early in his career?
Check out this mixtape and you judge why we shouldn’t.
Not surprisingly, Chase patterns his game after NBA guards Chris Paul, Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo. But it would impress you to know, he also idolizes NBA legend Bob Cousy.
He just might come up in the 2018 top list of prospects.
