“Collegiate Fresh.” This is how Rajon Rondo has come to describe his improved taste in fashion which has apparently also become his passion. The one- time GQ intern picked up a few notes from his experience with the magazine and has since moved on from baggy shirts, baggy pants and baggy suits days.
Plaids, varsity jackets, simple and clean. Haters may hate but it’s hard not to be impressed by this young gun’s sense of style. Ray Allen may not dig his playing style or his choice of teammates to pass to, but Rondo has proven that he’s a grown man.
Now that Celtic no. 9 has his own team to lead, these days in the NBA now require Rondo to suit up for a bigger role. With The Kid, The Truth and The Jet gone to Brooklyn, he now has to find chemistry with his new once- squabbled- with teammates Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries.
