Clearly, Ginebra fans have something to worry about (please, FTLOG, no duck faces!) once again. The reason? Famed ball player Mark Caguioa suffered a knee injury during playoff games against Petron Blaze on Thursday, September 26.
The reigning MVP slipped and had a bad fall, thus injuring his right knee. Last season, he had the same injury on his left knee. Tough luck, huh? It was bad enough for Ginebra fans to see their fave player go through the same ligament injury for the second season in a row, but what made the incident more grim was how it would affect the game, since team Ginebra was down to 28 points to Petron’s 35 when Caguioa was injured. Bad injury, meet bad timing! #FML
Team Ginebra was trailing behind Petron at 58-42 during halftime. The game ended at 101-94 in favor of Petron. Feel better soon, Mark!
