You don’t have to be a hipster to appreciate a good old vintage ad. There are so many timeless advertisements that come from the past even though a lot of them can be deemed as irrelevant these days.
To give you a blast from the past, Friday has chosen some of the best advertisements during the 50’s and 60’s. Enjoy!
Western Electric: Colorful landline handsets were quite the thing then, huh?
Volkswagen: That car’s so hippy! LOL.
Sony: From this to the Sony Bravia: quite the accomplishment.
Lustre Crème: Not anymore, though.
Corvette: Oh great, they also loved cats back then. Ha ha!
Eve Filter Cigarettes: Well, it looks really pretty. But it’s an awful habit, then until now.
Air Canada: It’s so minimalistic. Good job!
Cadillac: This looks so classy.
Twiggy Lashes: That’s how much of an icon Twiggy was and still is.
Frigidaire: This ad by General Motors is screaming vintage.
Levis: Well, that looks weird.
Bell Telephone System: Wow. Mommies back then really had nothing better to do.
Sprite: Sprite’s so cool, even then.
Ouija Board: They have the weirdest questions for a ghost. Ha ha ha!
What did I tell you? They’re pretty genius, right? Hope you had fun with that. Cheerio!
