In about 5 months, Electronic Arts is going to be releasing the fourth installment of their Sims series. All you self-proclaimed and even in-denial Sims players better get ready for that. But, while it has yet to land, another game may still satisfy your need for a game that could help you build your own homes. Build them until your device can’t handle the graphics load!

Minecraft is this addicting game that’s available across different platforms. It’s been around for a while now. Created by Swedish programmer Notch Persson and later on developed by Mojang, the game’s been available since 2009. Now it can be enjoyed on Android, iOS, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStations 3, 4 and Vita.
The game’s basically Lego gone virtual. Put blocks of grass together and build your own hedge. Put blocks of brick and wood or even glass together to create your own castle. Then there’s the part which might concern PETA, because players have to kill animals in order to survive. Some players just find it thrilling to kill as many animals as they can. (Seriously, what is wrong with you people?)
Take it out on those blasted zombies, why don’t you? No need to be inhuman. Come on.
Well this craziness aside, some players have found fun in creating and recreating awesome worlds.
Take this YouTube user, MediocreJake, who recreated Kanto of Pokemon’s Fire Red version. Here are five samples of his work:
1. Pokemon FireRed Kanto Recreation – Pallet Town Time-lapse
2. Pokemon FireRed Kanto Recreation – Route 1 Time-lapse (Minecraft)
3. Pokemon FireRed Kanto Recreation – Viridian City Time-lapse (Minecraft)
4. Pokemon FireRed Kanto Recreation – Route 2 Time-lapse (Minecraft)
