Hold a piece of floss between your fingers that must be a foot longer than the cake itself. Then place the toothpicks around the edges of the layer at the middle point. Line up the unscented dental floss around the toothpick row. Fully wrap the floss around the spongy cake then cross its ends and hold them. Pull the ends out and away from the cake so the floss cuts flawlessly through the cake as the floss gets tight.
You guys can also use dental floss to cut small blocks of cheese and cinnamon buns cleanly every time. And yeah, I already mentioned this. See, cutting cake is a serious stuff. Peace out!
