When we reach the double digits, we feel like we’re so mature. At 16, I thought I got everything figured out. Not that I was a know-it-all. I just felt that I was ready to embrace life. But then again, I guess life wasn’t ready to embrace me.
I’ve learned a thing or two about maturity in the years that I’ve lived but I know there’s so much more to learn. Also, maturity is all about how you act. Your attitude defines how mature you are, not your age. So if you’re still throwing tantrums by the time your 17, that’s not mature, man.
Let these goats show you what I mean.
Yes, it’s okay to be dramatic. Heck, I was like that for a long time. Maturity comes with experience, too, so we just gotta let ourselves learn through our many adventures.
It’s never too early or too late to be mature, that’s for sure.
