Vacation is over. IKR! But going to this library is soo coool! Who would have thought that a boring library could be seen in a different perspective? Try it hanging. No kidding! Madrid-based design studio Playoffice created The Reading Net, a giant web net hanging aligned with the library’s second floor, providing children a great area to read and play at the same time.
So, no more boring ‘keep your silence please’ sign and bookworms could hang like Spiderman while reading their favorite books and once they get bored, they could just be probably jumping up and down, whereas the parents are busy working on the first floor.
Now, can I raise some questions?
- What if I’d like to pee?
- It’s probably safe, otherwise if I forgot to surrender my favorite pink scissors, right?
- Is there a weight limit?
- Excuse me, did I say at times I could easily get dizzy I might throw up?
A playground that is a library or a library that is a playground, which is which? Or maybe both.
