In fact, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York held an exhibition in her honor entitled “Rara Avis (Rare Bird): The Irreverent Iris Apfel.”
That’s how much of a goddess she is. Also, her eyeglasses are iconic, if you haven’t noticed that.
Her legendary style is all about colors and bold prints and all things extravagant. Yes, she may have inspired the poem “All Things Bright and Beautiful.”
