There are so many words written in so many pages and in so many different languages. Those books can be pretty overwhelming. How I wish I could literally freeze time whenever I read a book just so I can take everything in. Yep, I guess that’s how much of a book nerd I am.
See, everyone has their own list of books that they swear you must read, right? There are websites that come up with literally a hundred books you should read before you die. That makes perfect sense ‘cause a hundred books in one lifetime is pretty much a good thing.
As far as suggestions go, I would boldly ask you to read these three books at least, for now, as I believe that these books would totally change your life.
P.S. I won’t be including books I’m SURE you’ve read. Alright? So don’t get angry when your favorite doesn’t show up. JUST KEEP READING!! LOL.
The Harry Potter Series (J.K. Rowling)
Yep, let’s start with the big guns. The Harry Potter collection is the mothership, after all. Nothing beats this series when it comes to fandom and just being abso-freaking-lutely awesome. The fan base of the books and movies is enough explanation as to how awesome these books are, which some of you might have passed up on reading.
I would seriously love to forget the entire the story of the Harry Potter books and movies. Then, just reading and watching them for the first time again would be the best feeling in the world. If you have the chance to do that, go ahead.
Green Eggs and Ham (Dr. Seuss)
We all know Dr. Seuss and we all love him. I hold fond memories of Dr. Seuss’ books in my childhood and until the present.
Despite my adoration of the Doctor, I haven’t read that particular book until recently, and I must say, reading Green Eggs and Ham at my age made me feel giddy and reminiscent. LOL. But really, Mr. Theodor Seuss Geisel holds a special place in my heart and I think he deserves a spot in yours, too.
The Holy Bible
I’m sure not all of you have read the Bible from cover to cover. Many think that since it’s a sacred text, not everyone can read it at leisure but the truth is, you so can. It’s the Word of God, after all, and it’s meant to be read.
Also, people from different religions may not be so into the Bible as a life-changing read, but it has been called one of the best works of literature, after all. It isn’t just about religion. It’s about man, morality and spirituality—concepts that even teens should be exploring, in my opinion.
These books have been GoodReads.com approved, so you know they’re just the best. Have fun reading some, if not all of, them!
