So tomorrow’s the first day of the UAAP finals. And no, the Blue Eagles won’t be there. That’s why a different set of storylines come with this new match- up that hasn’t been seen since the 1990s.
The Blue Eagles are out and haters have rejoiced. Now it’s the Tigers and the Archers gunning for their first ring of the decade. Hot- streaking De La Salle University blew out of the standings, taking down heavy favorites Far Eastern University. University of Santo Tomas put themselves through coal and fire squeaking past six- peat seeking Ateneo and outhustling top seeded National University.
Any- TENG Can Happen
Given how this season has played out, looks like anything can happen. Will the Archers keep their win streak until they win the Big Kahuna? Or will the Tigers finally clinch the crown that evaded them last season?
And whose star is going to shine brighter? Alvin Teng’s sons have proven that they’re there for the clutch. But will it be big bro King Tiger Jeric who’s going to outmuscle and outsmart Lil bro King Archer Jeron? Or will it be the other way around?
Well, however it turns out, seems like it’s literally going to be Any- TENG for the Ring. Whichever team finishes strong, one of the Teng’s will be hoisting that trophy next week.
