Tired of getting that introverted friend to tag along to meet other people? Are you running out of ideas to get that friend to leave the house and socialize?
Don’t give up just yet! Facebook may have changed the way people socialize but they haven’t really gotten to all your introverted friends. Yes, these people are a very special group of people whose cool, calm and collected- ness balances your outrageous and out of this world whims. You love them, you know it and you can’t live without them.
So here’s something for you from James Sun and Ben Liu. It’s an app- slash- social media platform where people can use avatars and from there eventually share information about themselves to people they have built good connections with.
No it’s not calling you to be false nor pretentious. It’s a social network for introverts brought to them by introverts. It can even be for you extroverts. You know Facebook has these tweaks on privacy settings which some people are not down with. In this way, Anomo is able to fill a need. As Mashable shares, “according to user polls, the majority of users came to Anomo ‘to keep their privacy until they meet someone cool,’ Sun said. ‘They want to keep their Facebook friends apart from their new friends.’” This is the need that Anomo fills.
Now you’ve got the lowdown on this fresh app, is it good enough for you or your friend?
